Momma called the doctor and the doctor said...

I am fixed! I am perfect! Ok, I thought I was pretty perfect to begin with (and I think you'd agree), but there was a minor glitch to attend to. We had to be at the hospital by 6:30, so Momma woke me up just before 6am. I couldn't eat anything because of anesthesia, so I was pretty angry. We got checked in and waited... We went back and they changed me into a gown, took my vitals and we waited... Doctors came in and talked and I feel asleep. I woke up when a nurse took me, and Momma & Daddy had to leave. After about an hour or so, Momma & Daddy came back! They could hear me crying... man, I was HUNGRY! I got a big bottle of Pedialyte and then another bottle of milk. Finally some food! After another little bit of snuggling with Momma, I got to get dressed and go home. My legs felt weird and tingly for a while. I got to have some tasty medicines and then took a nap when we got home. After my nap, I felt ok! Now all we have to do is put Vasoline in my diaper and I get to take lots of baths. Just like the doctor said, I'm pretty and perfect! And tough, yeah!

KY Trip Days 4-7

Monday, Momma & Daddy got up to take Annie to Louisville so she could fly back to Iowa. While they were gone, I hung out with Nana. I'm afraid it wasn't that fun for her. I had my FIFTH tooth coming in and my tummy hurt. But she took me to her work to meet everyone there. I really missed Momma & Daddy so I got to talk to them on the phone. The next last few days were spent visiting other people. We hung out with Uncle Michael and his friend Alyssa. There are so many pretty ladies in KY! I got to play in Papas shop and help Daddy fix his truck bed cover. We met Daddys good friends, Mr & Mrs Scott, and Mrs Allen. We went to the bank where Auntie Gina works. Whoa, they have a COOL light on the ceiling! Auntie Gina took our family portraits. We also stopped by Granny & Papas before we left to fly home. They have a doggie and I was missing my puppies SO much. Then we drove back to Nashville and flew home. It was a fun trip! I miss everyone down there.

KY Trip Days 2 & 3

These were "reunion" days. Nana had her family over during the day. Then Momma and Daddy went to daddy's 10 year High School reunion. The next day, Papa had his family over! I met SO many people! At Nana's, there was another baby, Braden. And lots of girl cousins that loved to play with me. There was a lot of food and a lot of people, so it was a fun day. This is me with all of the other grandkids in Nana's family. Momma and Daddy got all dressed up and went to a party. That's when the real fun started - once they left! The next day, we got up and went to Papa's. There, I got to meet Granny Nell and Papa Jimmy. There was another baby there and still more girl cousins that loved to play with me. We took a picture of 4 generations - me, Daddy, Papa & Papa J. We also got to swim... It was my first time swimming! It was SO fun, being able to splash splash! After that I was so tired, so we just went to bed.

KY Trip Day 1

Well, we flew into Nashville. This was nothing. I'm an old pro at flying! We met Annie and got settled into a hotel room. I had a hard time sleeping, since I wasn't in MY bed. But I got through it ok. When we woke up, we had breakfast and then took off. We went to the Ryman Auditorium. This is where the Grand Ole Opry used to be. We took the backstage tour. That was cool, seeing all of the dressing rooms and artifacts of old country stars. We even got to stand on the stage! Next, we drove around and saw a few cool things - like the Parthenon - in NASHVILLE! And we checked out the CMT building for Nonna. We also saw Venderbilt University. It was pretty! Then we went and ate at the Loveless Cafe. Well, I slept and mom, dad & Annie ate. They kept saying they were SO FULL. Finally we started to head towards Kentucky. I slept most of the way. We stopped in Bowling Green to see Corvettes, but they were already closed. Then, we got to Nana's house! Woohoo!! After dropping off our stuff, we went to Papas house. It was great finally meeting him and Uncle Michael. They are funny guys! I was so tired though so I was a little cranky. We hung out for a while and then went back to Nana's to stay.
