Yummio ???

This week, momma decided I could try REAL food. I have been eating boring old baby food from a jar and cereal. They are ok. And I just started to eat yogurt too! Well, I got to try Cheerios! Guess what? I HATE THEM! Why is she trying to make me CHEW? They taste like spinach or brussel sprouts or something else equally disgusting. Ugh! Momma says I have to keep trying them because what kind of baby doesn't like Cheerios? ME! I'd rather play with the bottle they come in! Or, try to drink it like a milky bottle!
But, shes going to keep trying. Today at lunch after church, I got to try a piece of her tortilla. I didn't mind that. I guess it is because of all of that Mexican food she ate when I was in her belly?!

half a year!!

Wow, I'm 6 months old! I feel so big! I am almost crawling, have 3 teeth and love to giggle. TO celebrate, momma took me to get shots. That just doesn't seem right, does it? But, I'm healthy and growing really well! I'm 26" and weigh over 15 pounds. I'm ahead of the curve on some stuff, too! Here are this months pictures!

Holy Me!

What a day! My mommy put me in this really handsome outfit. My nonna and her neighbor made it from mommas wedding dress! It even has my name in it! I feel asleep at church, but I sure did wake up when mom & dad started undressing me. Then our priest put me in really warm water and held me up for everyone to see! I was naked! I didn't pee on him, don't worry! It was kind of cool :)

Make love, not war, man...

I love the Iowa State Fair. Ok, I haven't been there, but momma says its so cool. Full of food on a stick (what? food is hard enough to be on a stick), Butter Cows, the Nadas (they rock) and mullets! Our friend Sherri throws pots there. And above her is a lady Nonna used to teach with that makes tie-dye. Our friends Katy and Greg bought me one of her shirts. Its so colorful, I was amazed with myself!
